In 2012, I wrote an article outlining issues women in the United States were experiencing after they had the Gardasil vaccination(s). The issues are now global as more young girls around the world have opted for the HPV vaccine after massive campaigns were launched in their countries advising them to get the vaccine.
HPV Vaccine Banned in Japan
For example, Japan initially poured over $187 million to promote the vaccine but has now banned its use in the country after nearly 2,000 adverse effects were reported – most of them serious. Adverse effects that were discovered are
- Seizures
- Brain Damage
- Blindness
- Paralysis
- Speech Problems
- Pancreatitis
- Short-term Memory Loss
- Death
The Tokyo Times reported that parents called the country’s health minister and furnished videos demonstrating the girls who received the HPV vaccine suffered from walking disturbances, body tics, and seizures. They report that “many girls injected with the vaccine fell to the floor, injuring their head or face and some fracturing their jaw or teeth.” Further, one report found the rate of serious adverse reactions experienced by Japanese women were 52 times the rate of those reported after annual flu vaccines.
Side Effects in Europe on the Rise
The similar finding is being reported in Europe as well. Spain is considering joining Japan in the ban after three girls have died and much more have experienced serious side effects. The AAVP (Association of people affected by HPV vaccine) states the vaccines are ineffective, as at least 20 or 25 years is needed to check if women who were vaccinated developed more or fewer cases of cervical cancer in relation to not- vaccinated women.
In 2009, patients in the UK were already coming forward discussing the side effects from the HPV vaccine that they experienced including blackouts, paralysis, Chronic Fatigue like illness and seizures. You can read about their stories here. Other side effects were reported to include infertility after the HPV vaccine and deaths continue to be reported.
In France, a leading Merck physician came forward stating “I predict that Gardasil will become the greatest medical scandal of all times because at some point in time, the evidence will add up to prove that this vaccine, technical and scientific feat that it may be, has absolutely no effect on cervical cancer and that all the very many adverse effects which destroy lives and even kill, serve no other purpose than to generate profit for the manufacturers
Illness Attributed to HPV Vaccines in Columbia
Columbia has been seeing milder side effects, but parents are concerned about the symptoms which include fainting, numbness in the hands and headaches being experienced by over 200 young girls after being given the HPV vaccine. This has overwhelmed the medical facilities in the small town where the HPV vaccines were administered.
Fraud and Recalls by Merck
In India, Merck has been charged with fraud and causing the death of young girls in India due to the HPV vaccine. The Indian Supreme Court will make its decision in November of 2014.
In December of 2013, Merck issues a voluntary recall of over 700,000 Gardasil vaccines due to the vaccines containing tiny glass particles.
